재원 중 사례관리 시스템 개발 및 운영 성과 분석

| Abstract : This study was conducted to evaluate the function of the Case Management System during Hospitalization(CMSH), as Decision Supporting System(DSS). CMSH was developed and applied to Laminectomy patients including Lumbar Discectomy from April 1, 2004 to May 31, 2004 at the acute teaching hospital in Seoul. CMSH was applied to 23 patients by using Critical Pathway. Cost comparison was done between 23 patients with Critical Pathway application and 22 patients without. Satisfaction survey for the Case Management System was done to physicians and nurses who work in the Neurosurgical and ENT department. In the conclusion, this study is meaningful that CMSH was developed and applied it to the hospitalized patients and analyzed the cause of CP variances, the cause of inappropriate inpatient days and quality indices and compared the cost of applying CP. Also this study showed that when the CP was applied , the imaging, drug and total charges could be reduced. And by survey, it was found that the introduction of CP master computerization and CP automation is needed. |
