Abstract : Because of the exploding hospital information, many hospitals use their HIS(Hospital Information System). However, since each of them uses different system and database, it is impossible to exchange data with other hospitals. In order to solve those problems, this paper suggests a mediator system, which enables data integration and exchange between heterogeneous systems. This system provides a user's interface that suits the hospital's need, and supports a web based system rather than a client/server environment to make the user more conveniently. And it presents more efficient methods of searching node and returning result by execution of XQuery through the integrated view.
