최적화기법을 이용한 요추에서의 근육 시뮬레이션

Abstract : Optimization technique was applied to calculate the magnitude of muscle forces at the lumbar region. The concept of follower load was adopted as a physiological condition to express the curvature of the lumbar spine. The optimization problem was efficiently solved using a linear solver in Matlab. The resultant of follower load seems to be similar to the physiological load. The results showed that follower load could be created using short muscles(not superficial long muscles) in static situation. This preliminary study for computer simulation using optimization technique shows this technique can be a powerful tool for studying the cause and intervention for spine deformities such as scoliosis.
