Abstract : This study is to assess the patients' effectiveness of tele-management services for chronic disease by analyzing measures such as patients' medical compliance, perceived level of satisfaction, intention to use continuously, accessability and ease of use. We have collected and analyzed data about tele-management services for the chronic patients (hypertension and diabetes) in the medically vulnerable area, inland in Kangwon-do province of Korea. By analyzing the data, all patients' effectiveness measures, such as patients' medical compliance and perceived satisfaction, patients' intention to use continuously were revealed as satisfactory level. We concluded that tele-management for chronic disease has effectiveness for patients and would be useful for the medically vulnerable rural region in Korea.
