Abstract : SAML(Security Assertion Markup Language) is an XML standard for exchanging authentication and authorization data between security domains. SSO(Single Sign-On) is mechanism whereby a single action of user authentication and authorization can permit a user to access all computers and systems where he has access permission, without the need to enter multiple passwords. SAML is trying to solve the web SSO problem. CDR(Clinical Document Repository) is a kind of repository that contained CDA(Clinical Document Architecture) document and a kind of framework to store CDR is used to utilize data that contained CDA document for the purpose of better treatment, clinical research and health statistics for policy making. In this paper, we describe mechanism whereby a single Log-in can permit a user to access all CDR where he has access permission, without additional authentication and authorization to use Regional Repository effectively using SAML standard.
