Abstract : The National Cancer Information Center was established at Jun. 20, 2005 as a national, offering comprehensive cancer informational and community resources to cancer patients, their families and healthcare professionals in Korea. This study was to performed to analysis the characteristics of the telephone cancer information service and users' satisfaction and to examine factors effected to users' satisfaction. The goal is to provide data for the development of better quality of telephone cancer information service. It is attempted for the purpose of providing basic data for improving quality of service and offering better service. These results can be taken to analyze the characteristics of the telephone cancer information service and user satisfaction and to examine factors effected to user's satisfaction. In conclusion, the results of this study suggest that training and continuing education are part of continuous quality improvement for a knowledge-based service and in order to provide qualified information
